“I use watercolor to create works that have a bright, clean, crisp look; one that is contemporary in its color and style, yet traditional in subject matter. The strong frontal image grabs the viewer and holds them with its visual impact.  I use the flower because of its inherent sensual qualities of color and form. The Paintings are rich images in style and simplicity, qualities that heighten their expressive impact. the flowers retain their botanical integrity while still expressing a personal and unique style."
